Foodbank NEWS

Update

 Happy New Year to all who read this column. Thank you for your generosity throughout 2025. Our physical donations to the foodbank totalled 579kg and £660 in cash was raised in various ways too; all in all a magnificent effort.

Given the especially cold weather at the moment, the need to maintain support of the foodbank sadly remains high and we thank you in advance for your continuing support.

By way of reminder, there are two marked boxes in the Narthex for your physical donations and cash can be donated via the contactless machines in the Narthex.

Needed urgently

These are some of the foodstuffs/other items that are needed urgently by the foodbank.

  • Powdered milk

  • UHT milk

  • Cooking sauces

  • Sponge puddings - they have none

  • Long life juice

  • Shampoo 

  • Hair conditioner

  • Toilet rolls

  • Washing up liquid

Parish Food Collections

These are delivered to the foodbank regularly. The table/graph below shows how much the parish has collected so far this year.​
