Update - w/e 3/5/2026

For the first 4 months of the year, your donations to the foodbank total 192kg. Well done and thank you, though you may wish to know that at the same time last year, donations amounted to 232kg. The central foodbank informs us that they have 135 fewer food crates than this time last year, so your ongoing support remains crucial and much appreciated especially considering recent rises in food and energy prices.

By way of reminder, there are two marked boxes in the Narthex for your physical donations and cash can be donated via the contactless machines in the Narthex.

Needed urgently

These are some of the foodstuffs/other items that are needed urgently by the foodbank.

Sweetcorn - They have none
Cooking Sauce - They have none
Savoury biscuits - They have none
Instant Mash - They have none
Sponge Puddings - They have none
Sanitary Pads - They have none
Hair Conditioner - They have none
Other urgent items are deoderant, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrushes, adult and for 0-2 only.
Polite request - no more pasta for the time being
